About the Band

Arizona's Premier Eagles Tribute

One Of These Nights is Arizona’s premier tribute to the Eagles, recreating the soaring harmonies, layered guitars, and timeless songs that defined one of America’s most iconic bands.

Formed in 2014, the group has built a strong following across Arizona and beyond, performing at theaters, casinos, festivals, and performing arts venues. Led by **JD Madrid** on guitar and lead vocals, the band delivers a show that spans the Eagles’ full catalog, from **“Take It Easy,”** **“Peaceful Easy Feeling,”** and **“Lyin’ Eyes”** to **“One Of These Nights,”** **“Hotel California,”** and **“Life in the Fast Lane.”**

With multiple guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, and rich multi-part vocals, One Of These Nights captures the detail and energy of the original recordings while keeping the feel of a live rock concert. The result is a polished, authentic tribute that celebrates the unmistakable sound and enduring legacy of the Eagles.

Nic Sterling

Nic Sterling

Vocals / Bass

Phoenix, Arizona native Nick Sterling brings nearly three decades of stage experience to One of These Nights, an impressive career for a musician still only 36 years old. A former child prodigy, Nick began performing at an early age and has since developed into an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, equally at home on bass, guitar, drums, and keyboards. Beyond his work with One of These Nights, Nick is an experienced session musician and also has extensive touring experience throughout the United States and internationally. Years spent performing in a wide range of musical settings have shaped him into a versatile player with a strong command of arrangement, feel, tone, and ensemble playing. In One of These Nights, Nick anchors the band on bass while contributing the high harmony vocals that are so essential to the Eagles sound. He also takes the lead on songs originally sung by Randy Meisner and Timothy B. Schmit, bringing two distinct eras of the Eagles catalog to life with careful attention to both the vocal and instrumental details. That attention extends to his instruments as well. Nick uses a Rickenbacker bass for the Randy Meisner material and a Fender Jazz Bass for the Timothy B. Schmit songs, helping capture the character and texture associated with each player’s sound. With decades of performing experience, multi-instrumental ability, worldwide touring experience, and a lifelong career in music, Nick brings authenticity, versatility, and seasoned musicianship to the One of These Nights stage.

Tommy Weaver

Tommy Weaver

Vocals / Guitar

Originally from **Wasilla, Alaska**, Tommy Weaver moved to Arizona in 2017 and has since become a familiar face in the Phoenix-area music scene. A guitarist for more than 30 years, Tommy’s playing is shaped by a lifelong mix of **country, blues, and rock**, with a style that blends melodic phrasing, strong rhythm work, and classic guitar tones. Music runs deep in his family. With roots in a family of musicians, Tommy grew up surrounded by the sounds and influences that would eventually shape his own playing. Over the years, he has performed with numerous bands throughout the Phoenix area, building experience across a wide range of styles and live settings. His connection to the Eagles started early after getting the **Hell Freezes Over** DVD and becoming obsessed with the band’s songs, harmonies, and guitar work. In 2017, he saw **One Of These Nights** perform live for the first time. Today, he feels incredibly fortunate to experience that same show from the stage. Tommy performs with a **double-neck Epiphone SG**, **Gibson Les Paul**, and **Fender Telecaster**, bringing the guitar-driven sound of the Eagles to life each night.
